The blaze broke out at around 5.45 am in An Loc Giong Hamlet, Mo Cay Commune, destroying a corrugated iron-roofed house and many belongings inside.
The victims, aged 12 and 15, were found dead at the scene.

Following the incident, Vinh Long Provincial Chairman Tran Tri Quang directed police to examine the site and determine the cause of the fire.
Authorities have also called for stronger public awareness campaigns on fire prevention, rescue and emergency response skills, particularly targeting areas at high risk of fire hazards.
Local departments and agencies have been urged to strictly implement fire safety regulations and step up inspections to prevent similar incidents.
