Two male bodies found on beach in Quang Ngai

Authorities in Quang Ngai Province are investigating after two decomposed male bodies washed ashore in separate locations on March 10.

Residents discovered the bodies along beaches in Duc Pho Ward and Khanh Cuong Commune in Quang Ngai.

The first body was found at about 4.30 am by residents of Nam Phuoc residential area in Duc Pho Ward. The victim, a man wearing a black jacket, was already in an advanced state of decomposition.

Later the same day, around midday, another decomposed male body was discovered by residents in Khanh Cuong Commune. The second body had washed ashore without clothing.

Local residents reported both incidents to the police.

After receiving the reports, officers from Quang Ngai Provincial Police cordoned off the areas, carried out autopsies and began collecting information to identify the victims.

Authorities said the bodies were severely decomposed, making identification difficult.

Police have urged residents who have missing relatives to come forward and assist with the investigation.
