Train services NA1, NA2, SE9, SE10, SP8, SP3, SP4 and SP7 were suspended today, September 30, while train SP8 will be halted on October 1. Passengers are being transferred by road.

Flooding on the Thi Long-Van Trai section in Thanh Hoa made rail traffic unsafe, forcing Vietnam Railways to transfer passengers by road between Thanh Hoa and Truong Lam stations for trains SE9, SE10, SE3, SE4, SE19, SE2 and SE20. More than 1,100 passengers are expected to be affected.
As of 9 am today, Vietnam Railways has provided over 2,000 free breakfasts and 850 main meals to passengers on affected trains.
Earlier, Vietnam Railways also suspended trains NA1, NA2, MR1 and MR2 on September 28, and trains NA1, NA2, MR1, MR2, SE1, SP3, SP4 and SP7 on September 29 due to Typhoon Bualoi.
