
The train connects the two sides of the Red River, departing from the Hanoi Station, running through Long Bien Bridge to Gia Lam Station from where passengers can walk to the nearby former Gia Lam train factory that has been converted into a community space with booths displaying domestic creative brands and products in many fields, from handicrafts to fashion and communication-advertisement during the festival.

On the opening day of the festival on November 17, the train departed from Long Bien Station at 7:05 pm and left Gia Lam railway station at 10:25 pm back to the city's centre.

Passengers on the train were entertained with exhibitions and music performances.

During the festival, services will be available for passengers from Hanoi Station to Gia Lam Station at 8am and 1.20 pm and then back to Hanoi Station at 10.50am and 4pm.The fare is VND20,000 VND (USD0.82).

The festival is jointly organised by the municipal people’s committee, the Architecture Magazine under the Vietnam Association of Architects, and the municipal Department of Culture and Sports with the support of the UNESCO Office in Hanoi, the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat), international organisations, businesses, creators and artists.
