The victims were identified as Chu Van Binh, Nguyen Duc Dinh and Nguyen Thi Hanh Phuc. The three tourists visited Ta Gu Waterfall with another friend when they slipped and fell. The remaining visitor survived but was unable to save her friends.
The police in Khanh Son District was reported about the case at 3 pm on the same day and quickly arrived at the scene. However, due to the steep waterfall, they faced many difficulties while carrying out a search and rescue mission.
The bodies of the tourists were found two hours later.
Ta Gu is the highest waterfall in Khanh Hoa Province. It is 40 metres tall and a well-known destination for its raw and dangerous beauty.
