According to the initial information, the people are part of a 17-member group who started a picnic near a stream in Lat Commune, Lac Duong District. However, torrential rain suddenly occurred, causing flooding in the area.

Seven among them managed to cross the stream, while the remainder were unable to follow.

Rescue services attended the scene.

At that time, the ten people were standing by the swift-flowing stream, shivering with cold. The police quickly took the people across the river. They were then given medical support.

Lac Duong District has recently attracted many people who come for picnics, particularly young people. But the area poses possible dangers when the weather is unfavourable.
