Spring-summer fashion week to feature 1,000 new creations

The Vietnam Spring Summer 2017 Fashion Week will take place from September 29 to October 2 in Hanoi, bringing about 1,000 new designs by 27 designers from Vietnam, Malaysia and Italy to the catwalk.

Speaking at a press conference on September 26, renowned designer Minh Hanh said highlights of the fashion week will be the Haute Couture night comprising 11 collections.

About 50 Vietnamese top models will perform at the fashion week.

The annual event aims to create a competitive arena for designers, promote the Vietnamese fashion industry and offer new trends to meet Vietnamese fashion demand.

Meanwhile, the Vietnam International Fashion Week (VIFW) for the autumn-winter season will be held in Hanoi for the first time on November 1-6.
