Earlier on the night of May 2, Dao Thanh Tuan, 33, from Hung Tri Village, noticed the animal wandering near his home and climbing onto an electricity wire. Suspecting it was a protected species, he alerted authorities and brought it to local police.
After receiving the loris, commune police coordinated with forest rangers to complete procedures for its release back into the wild in accordance with regulations.
