The python was discovered at a house in Khe Tre Town this morning, April 5, in the mountainous district of Nam Dong.

The python weighs around 18 kilos
The house owner quickly caught the animal and handed it to the local forest rangers.
The reticulated python is listed as a rare and endangered species under Group IIB according to the regulations of the Vietnamese government.
A household in Hue City also discovered an 85 kg-and 5.2m-long Indian python in their garden on April 2 and handed it over to the authorities.
