Quang Binh petrol thieves prosecuted

Four men who stole petrol and batteries from lorries parked near a cement plant in Quang Binh Province were prosecuted.

Four men who regularly stole petrol and batteries from lorries parked near to the Song Gianh Cement Plant were prosecuted by Quang Binh Province's Tuyen Hoa District’s Police Division on April 5.

Song Gianh Cement Plant was plagued by theft

These four thieves include Ho Trong An, 24; Tran Duc Cuong, 19; Nguyen Van Hieu, 21; and Nguyen Giang Nam, 18. All of the guilty men lived in the province’s Tien Hoa Commune, Tuyen Hoa District.

On the night of April 2, the men stole 100 litres of diesel oil and three engine batteries from three lorries parking near the entrance gate of Song Gianh Cement Company, the largest of its kind in Quang Binh.

Tuyen Hoa District’s Police Division investigated the case and quickly identified and arrested the four men.

While questioned by police, the men admitted to committing several other thefts in the area.

The case is being further investigated.
