Qatar Airways launches new route to Danang

Qatar Airways touched down in Danang

This is the third direct flight route opened by Qatar Airways to Vietnam after Doha-Hanoi in 2010 and Doha-HCM City opened in 2007. This is also its 14th direct flight route in 2018.

Qatar Airways will operate four flights on Doha-Danang route per week with the Boeing B787-8.

Akbar Al Baker, Qatar Airways Group chief executive, said the new air route was a part of their business expansion in the Far East region which is one of their important markets. With three air routes, Qatar will now operate 56 weekly flights to and from Vietnam.

Qatar Airways is co-operating with Vietjet Air on its interline partnership. Qatar Airways passengers will be able to travel to and from destinations in Vietnam not served directly by Qatar Airways using a single reservation across both airlines’ networks.

Qatar Airways is the biggest airlines in the Middle East and has the fastest development rate in the world. The airlines provide Wifi and GMS services on all of their flights.

Qatar Airways Cargo is also one of the biggest world's transportation firms. It has operated six flights to and from Hanoi and seven flights to and from HCM City every week with over 1,400 tonnes of cargo.

As of now, Danang International Airport has 25 international airlines with 16 routes.
