Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and his delegation attended round-table discussions on the Vietnam- Korea economic cooperation in Seoul on November 11 on the sidelines of the G20 Summit.
In his speech, PM Dung said along with the effective use of domestic resources, Vietnam is focused on accelerating its international economic integration by attracting capital inflows, applying new technologies and advanced management skills and expanding the market.
He praised Korean businesses’ potential and technology and called them to expand their investment in Vietnam, particularly in socio-economic infrastructure, new energy, high-technology, supporting industry, human resources development, healthcare, agriculture and forestry and seafood processing.
The Vietnamese Government will create the best possible conditions for foreign businesses, including Korean ones to run long-term business in Vietnam thus benefiting both sides, Mr Dung said.
PM Dung relied directly many questions raised by Korean economic organisations and businesses and witnessed the signing of agreements and memorandums of understanding on thermal-power and gas projects between Vietnamese businesses and Korean groups.
