Petrol prices rise, oil drops in latest adjustment

Petrol prices increased while oil prices dropped in the latest adjustment on May 29 following a joint decision by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance.

E5 RON 92 was priced at VND 19,190 per litre and RON 95 at VND 19,560 per litre, up by VND 70 and VND 30, respectively.

Meanwhile, oil prices were cut. Specifically, diesel declined by VND 270 per litre to VND 17,130/ per litre; kerosene dropped by VND 210 per litre to VND 17,100 per litre and mazut decreased by VND 250 per kilo to VND 16,260 per kilo.

The two ministries did not use the Petrol Price Stabilisation Fund for this adjustment.

So far this year, RON 95 petrol has increased 11 times and decreased 11 times.
