Two passenger buses have been seized after chasing each other

Colonel Vu Tien Thuy, vice head of the Department of Traffic Police in Dak Nong Province, said a passenger bus driven by Bui Nhat Hung, born in 1985 in Binh Duong Province, had been speeding, overtaking and chasing another passenger bus from Dak Lak along urban streets.

The police have seized the buses and arrested the drivers. Hung admitted that the drivers of both buses were fighting over the passengers and started the chase. Dak Lak Province Traffic Police Department also reported that they had worked with Binh Phuoc police to seize the bus.

The chase was brought to the police's attention after a clip was uploaded onto the internet. In the clip, the buses tried to chase and overtake each other with a disregard to the nearby vehicles and their passengers. Many people expressed their anger at the drivers in the clip.

On June 26, the Traffic Safety National Committee issued an official document and asked the police in Dak Lak and Dak Nong to quickly investigate the case and catch the violators to ensure road traffic safety.
