The Party leader is being accompanied by a number of Party officials and leaders of ministries in charge of national defence, foreign affairs, public security, science-technology, industry and trade, and agriculture and environment.
This is the highest-level visit by a Vietnamese leader to Finland since the two countries established diplomatic relations in 1973. The visit demonstrates Vietnam’s strong commitment to strengthening the traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation between the two countries.
According to the Vietnamese Ambassador to Finland, Pham Thi Thanh Binh, the visit marks a new era of cooperation between Vietnam and Finland, an era of innovation, knowledge, and green development. It is expected to enhance political trust, promote people-to-people exchanges, and foster business connections, thereby laying the foundation for the development of a strategic partnership in the coming years.
