According to provincial police, the incident occurred on the morning of February 21 in Quan Ba Commune. The pilot, a 34-year-old man from Ha Giang Paragliding Co., was flying at an altitude of about 20 metres when the engine suddenly lost power.

The paraglider became entangled in a telecommunications cable before falling onto a car travelling slowly along National Highway 2C.
The vehicle suffered damage to its windscreen and front section, but the driver and pilot were unharmed.
Police said the flight was part of a training session and not related to commercial tourism services. Authorities are investigating the incident.
They also called on organisations and individuals involved in paragliding activities to strictly comply with safety regulations to ensure a safe and responsible tourism environment.
