Dan Tri/DTiNews held an online forum today for students who are planning to take the TOEIC, providing them with advice and strategies to achieve the best results.
The forum's panelists included two women who have had first-hand experience in as students and in education.
Nguyen Nhan Ai, is former English lecturer from the Vietnam National University-Hanoi, now is working at Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences and Duong Tue Minh. She also received 930 points for her TOEIC test.
Also attending the event was Duong Tue Minh, a graduate of the Foreign Trade University.
The two guests answered many questions from students who were interested in the best methods used by successful students, and were also referred to an upcoming TOEIC conference to be held by AAC Language and Skills training centre. They were also informed about “Golden Future 2012”, a scholarship programme which gives out a total of VND1 billion (USD47,600), and was jointly launched by Dantri/DTiNews and AAC Language & Skills Training (www.aac-edu.vn).
The questions varied widely but most of them centered around practical ways to achieve realisable goals. The questioners were likely satisfied by the astute and insightful answers that came from the panelists experience.
Nguyen Nhan Ai, Master of English at the Vietnam National University-Hanoi, has worked at AAC for many years.With 10-years teaching experience and love for the work, she currently teaches English courses for international communications, commercial English and TOEIC courses. Students highly appreciate her methods in for TOEIC examinations.
Duong Tue Minh, was a very active and successful student at university. Currently she is just over 20 years old, but has become a member of the Vietnamese Communist Party as a result of her great scholarship and participation in activities.
