The water level of the Red River as been forecasted to continue increasing in the next 12 hours.
The districts of Mu Cang Chai, Tram Tau, Van Chan, Van Yen, Tran Yen, Luc Yen, Yen Binh, and Yen Bai City have been submerged. Hundreds of houses have been submerged and damaged, and more than 610 hectares of crops have been affected.
The provinces of Thai Nguyen, Bac Giang, Lao Cai and Bac Kan are in the same situation.

The Cau River's water level is rising, threatening nearby residential areas. Local authorities have evacuated hundreds of households.
