The Phan Thiet-Dau Giay section linking Binh Thuan and Dong Nai provinces has an investment of VND12.57 trillion. It is 99 kilometres long.

According to the prime minister, the operation of these sections will help to shorten the travel time from the central to the southern regions. He urged contractors to ensure the construction of the whole North-South Expressway route, running from the northern province of Lang Son and the southernmost province of Ca Mau.
