
Offering incenses to deceased soldiers.
Le Van Phuoc, vice chairman of An Giang People's Committee gave high regards to the contributions of Team K93 in the past years. He went on to say that the wars in the past had deeply wounded Vietnam with many fatalities. The government has never stopped searching for the remains of soldiers who died in Vietnam or in other countries in order to bring them back home to their families.

Team K93 receives medals and certificates of merits on November 19.
After digging at 180,000 locations, the team collected 1,956 sets of remains and identified 251 soldiers who died in Cambodia. In Vietnam, the team also found 1,254 sets of remains in An Phu, Tinh Bien, and Tri Ton districts in An Giang Province.
All of the soldiers were buried at Doc Ba Dac War Cemetery in An Giang or transferred back to their families.
Phuoc continued praising the team's effort in the past 20 years and the support from Vietnamese as well as Cambodian authorities and people.
Team K93 was given the Achievement Medals of second class and third class and the certificates of merit from the Ministry of Defence and An Giang People's Committee.
