After the victory over Malaysia, Le Hung Dung, president of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) decided to award a bonus of VND600 million to the Vietnamese national team for their efforts at the AFF Suzuki Cup 2018.
The award is expected to encourage the team to continue to try all efforts and achieve good result in regional tournament, he said.
In addition to the VFF’s award, the men’s football team has also received a VND500 million reward from private companies, raising the total bonus to VND1.1 billion.
As scheduled, the Vietnamese team will jet off to Myanmar on November 17 to prepare for their third match in Group A of AFF Cup 2018 against Myanmar scheduled for November 20.
