More flights cancelled due to Typhoon Ragasa

National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines has further adjusted its flight schedule in response to Typhoon Ragasa, the ninth storm of the year.

Vietnam Airlines will cancel six flights between HCM City and Cat Bi on September 25, including VN7270, VN7271, VN7274, VN7275, VN7278, and VN7279. The airline will reschedule others, including VN1176, now set for 4.30 pm, and VN1177 for 7.05 pm.

On the same day, flights to and from Tho Xuan Airport in Thanh Hoa Province will be rescheduled to operate between 10.30 am and 12 pm, while services at Cat Bi Airport in Haiphong will be adjusted after 6 pm.

Pacific Airlines flights have also been rescheduled, with BL6440 departing at 9.15 pm and BL6441 at 11.55 pm.

Flights on the Danang-Cat Bi route will see schedule changes, with VN1670 to depart at 5 pm and VN1671 at 6.55 pm.

Many other domestic and international flights have also been affected due to the storm’s impact.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam has issued an urgent notice to aviation units, urging them to stay prepared for Super Typhoon Ragasa. Authorities instructed airlines to closely monitor the storm’s developments and adjust or reschedule flights as necessary.
