According to the Government Inspectorate, the inspection is aimed to clearly define the responsibilities of Health Minister Nguyen Thi Kim Tien and the ministry’s agencies in conforming to the government's Decree 43 on financial self-control and full-time staff recruitment as well as the investment and construction management of some key hospitals during the 2013-2016 period.

If necessary, the inspection will cover the time before and after this period.
The list will also include the five other agencies of Can Tho Central General Hospital, Hanoi Medical University, HCM City Medicine and Pharmacy University, Can Tho Medicine and Pharmacy University and the HCM City Department of Health.
The inspection will last for 70 days, starting from September 21.
Deputy Minister of Health Truong Quoc Cuong said that the ministry leaders will closely co-operate with the inspection team and provide contacts as required.
Regarding the VN Pharma JS Company’s cancer medicine scam, the Government Inspectorate will set up a separate task force next week under the instruction of the prime minister. The PM requested a report on the scandal before December 31 this year.
