The scene of the accident
According to the Traffic Police Department, the incident occurred at around 9.55 pm on the North-South railway line passing through Quang Tri. The SE20 train, travelling from south to north, collided with the man who was lying on the rails.
The victim, a resident of Quang Tri Ward in Quang Tri Province, died instantly at the scene.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the incident.
