Japanese PM makes official visit to Vietnam

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, escorted by a high-ranking delegation, is paying an official two-day visit to Vietnam, starting today.

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, escorted by a high-ranking delegation, is paying an official two-day visit to Vietnam, starting today.

The visit is made at the invitation of Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung.

PM Shinzo Abe, born in 1954, has been the President of the Liberal Democratic Party and the 90th and 96th Prime Minister of Japan. He is a graduate of Seikei University and the University of Southern California.
