Officers seized five pairs of shoes and 26 pairs of sandals bearing counterfeit Adidas branding, 14 pairs of shoes and 10 pairs of sandals carrying counterfeit Nike trademarks, as well as eight men's sports shirts falsely labelled with the Adidas brand.
Authorities imposed administrative fines totalling VND 28 million (USD 1,070) on four individuals in four separate cases for trading counterfeit trademark goods.
Investigations into the remaining two cases are continuing, with authorities preparing case files for further legal action.
Separately, on July 30, police in A Sao Commune, working with Market Surveillance Team 6, inspected several grocery stores in the locality.

During the inspections, officers found one retailer selling 80 packaged food products, including sausages and ready-to-eat foods, without clear documentation of their origin or proper labelling. The products also lacked the Vietnamese-language labels required under national regulations.
Authorities issued an administrative violation report and ordered the business owner to destroy all of the non-compliant products in accordance with Vietnamese law.
