Hung Kings’ festival and Reunification Day holidays announced

The Vietnamese Ministry of Vietnamese Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs has announced the days-off for the coming Hung Kings' Festival, Reunification Day and May Day.

The Vietnamese Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs has announced the days-off for the coming Hung Kings' Festival, Reunification Day and May Day.

This year, Hung Kings' Festival which falls on Saturday, April 14, this year; so a day off will be provided on Monday of the week after, or on April 6. Based on this schedule, workers will have three consecutive days-off for the festival on April 14-16.

According to the ministry, Reunification Day on April 30 and May Day this year fall on Saturday and Sunday respectively, therefore, the public will have four consecutive days off.

This year will provide 22 days off for Tet and holidays, including nine days-off for Tet holiday the Lunar New Year.
