The localities include Hanoi, Haiphong, Quang Ninh, Quang Binh, Thua Thien-Hue, Danang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Khanh Hoa, Binh Thuan, Binh Thuan and Phu Yen.
These cities and provinces have been asked to select some local facilities to serve as quarantine areas in the fight against Covid-19.
The localities need to send the list of accommodation which can be used as quarantine areas to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism before being submitted to the National Steering Committee on Covid-19 Prevention and Control.
Cities and provincial tourism and health departments have been required to co-operate to instruct sites to make necessary preparations for quarantining.
