High-school students are set to sit graduation exams in June instead of July as in previous years.
With the COVID-19 pandemic bought under control, life has returned to normal and the graduation exams will begin early, the ministry said.
Over the past few years, the graduation exams have been considered an important test for high school students if they wish to enter a college of university.
Many universities rely on the results of the graduation exam to enroll new students, while some universities welcome new students based on the academic results they record during their study at high school.
This year, candidates will apply online through either the admissions portal of the Ministry of Education and Training or the National Public Service Portal.
The ministry has requested colleges/universities to make public their admission policy at least 30 days before candidates register.
