An air route using helicopters to connect Vung Tau city and Con Dao district of the southern province of Ba Ria - Vung Tau will be launched on April 26.

Run by the Southern Vietnam Helicopter Company using Russian-made Mi-17-1V and Mi-172 helicopters, round-trip flights will take off on Friday and Sunday with a flight duration of one hour.
The flight from Vung Tau airport will depart at 1:30 pm, while the return flight will leave Con Dao at 3:30 pm.
The price for a one-way ticket will be VND2.2 million (US$94.5).
The air route is expected to help promote tourism development in Ba Ria- Vung Tau.
