Landslides have occurred on some national highways 4D and 4H and roads as well as roads 133 and 127.

It was not until 10 am this morning, June 6, the affected road section was cleared.

Lai Chau has been forecasted to continue struggling with rains with a rainfall of 20-50mm.

Meanwhile, rain has also damaged nearly 30 hectares of rice and crops in Yen Bai, resulting in a loss of around VND850 million.

According to the National Centre for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, widespread heavy rain is likely to return to the northern region and the northern central province of Thanh Hoa from the evening of June 7 to June 9.
