Heavy rain in the central cities of Hue and Danang over the past two days has thrown departure and arrival schedules into turmoil.
Many flights of VietJet Air affected due to bad weather
VietJet Air said that many its flights were affected. A flight from Hanoi to Danang took off at 3.05pm on December 1, but could not land due to poor weather conditions.
Two other flights, one from Danang to Hanoi, and another from Hanoi to Danang, were delayed 35 minutes late. That flight departed from from Hanoi at 10.48pm on December 1, and was forced to return to Hanoi due to weather. It only reached Danang at 12.50am the next day.
On December 2, VietJet Air had to cancel six flights on the HCM City-Hue-HCM City route due to bad weather in Hue.
Vietnam Airlines and Jetstar Pacific reported no cancellations or delays in Phu Bai or Danang.
