They detained Nguyen Duc Khanh, 43, from Tay Ninh; Khong Duc Hong, 33, from HCM City; and Bui Thi Mong Thu, 35, from Vinh Long for producing and trading fake goods.
Officers discovered a site in Tan Tao Ward where counterfeit cosmetics were being manufactured under the names of major brands. Khanh led the operation, hiring workers to mix, package and distribute the products, and also ran another facility in Tay Ninh Province.

Hong and Thu helped Khanh distribute the fake cosmetics through social media platforms, online groups and express delivery services to promote and sell the products nationwide.
After a period of investigation, police simultaneously raided the two production sites and a warehouse, seizing thousands of counterfeit cosmetics labelled as popular brands, including Vichy and My Gold Korea Red Ginseng, along with machinery, raw materials and packaging equipment.
Authorities said the seized items were worth several billion dong.
