HCM City: Man breaks into kindergarten, keeping two kids as hostage
A young man broke into the 10A kindergarten in Tan Binh District, HCM City this morning, to control two children. Hundreds of police surrounded the kindergarten to rescue kids.
At around 8.30 this morning, October 11, a young man suddenly broke into the 10A kindergarten on Go Cam Dem road, Ward 10, Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City, to control two 3-year-old children. Hundreds of police surrounded the kindergarten to rescue kids. While kids were playing in the yard, a man of around 20 year old, holding a knife on his hand, ran into the kindergarten, captured two three-year-old children.
Teachers were very panic. They rushed to take kids into classrooms and locked doors. The man pulled the two kids into a classroom as hostage.
According to VietNamNet’s reporters at the scene, hundreds of police officers surrounded the school, blocking all roads. Hundreds of people flocked to this place, including parents. Some tried to get into the school but they were stopped by the police.
At around 9.30 am, police officers took some kids out. At 10.15 am, the police accessed to the classroom and controlled the man.
At 10:30am, police escorted the man out. The parents are still not accessible to their children yet.
