The decision was announced at a Wednesday meeting by spokesperson of the Hanoi People's Committee Truong Viet Dung, who said that these venues are asked to ensure regulations on Covid-19 prevention.
Customers with suspected Covid-19 symptoms including fever, coughing, breathing difficulties and loss of taste and smell are asked to avoid using the services.
These places, which are considered high risks for spreading the coronavirus, have been ordered to shut down in the capital since late April last year when the city was hit by the fourth wave of the pandemic.
Last month, local authorities also removed the 9 pm curfew for pubs, cafes and dining establishments.
Although the Covid-19 pandemic has passed its peak in Hanoi, the city is still the biggest epicentre in the country with around five and six thousand infections confirmed daily.
