
On the morning of May 19, a solemn atmosphere filled Hanoi’s historic Ba Dinh Square as Vietnam marked the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s birth.

A delegation representing the Communist Party Central Committee, the State President, the National Assembly, the Government and the Vietnam Fatherland Front laid wreaths and paid tribute at the mausoleum in Ba Dinh Square.
Among those attending were Communist Party General Secretary and President To Lam, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, along with current and former senior officials.

The wreath carried the inscription “Forever grateful to the great President Ho Chi Minh”



In a solemn atmosphere, delegates expressed respect and gratitude for President Ho Chi Minh’s contributions to Vietnam and paid tribute to generations who sacrificed for national independence and development.

Following the ceremony at the mausoleum, delegations laid wreaths and offered incense at the Monument to Heroic Martyrs on Bac Son Street in Hanoi.

A delegation from the Vietnam Fatherland Front visited the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum to pay tribute to the late leader.




Delegations from the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Hanoi authorities, the military and public security forces also attended commemorative ceremonies on the occasion.
