Under the decision signed by Chu Xuan Dung, vice chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee, students from nursery and high-school levels will return school from March 2. Meanwhile, local colleges and universities are permitted to be reopened from March 8.
Hanoi students to return school from next week
Earlier, the city issued a decision on the school closure from February 15 to February 28 as a measure for Covid-19 prevention and control.
On February 24, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training proposed the school reopening from March 2.
Hanoi has seen no new Covid-19 locally-infected case over the past 15 days.
