The Hanoi department of construction has directed the rapid implementation of several planned projects in the core areas of Ba Dinh, Hoan Kiem and Cua Nam wards.

According to the department, parking demand is rising sharply while land remains limited and unevenly distributed. Delays in developing planned facilities have added pressure to traffic management and urban order in central areas.
Officials said investment in car parks across Ba Dinh, Hoan Kiem and Cua Nam wards is an urgent priority to ease congestion and respond to public concerns.
Local authorities have been asked to review existing parking capacity, including scale, usage and gaps, and to identify feasible sites for swift development.
The department added that, given budget constraints, wards should mobilise local resources and submit proposals to the city, with additional municipal support to be considered where funding is insufficient.
