Accordingly, services such as GrabBike, GoBike and BeeBike are now operational again after months of suspension to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The decision came following the designation of the capital city as a level-2 zone with medium coronavirus risks, aiming to meet the people’s travel demand with life becoming normal.
Public buses have also been permitted to resume operating at their full capacity from February 8.
The Hanoi Department of Transport asked services to take responsibility in managing their drivers, who must be vaccinated against COVID-19 and fully comply with pandemic prevention measures.
Such services were also requested to submit a list of their drivers and vehicles to the transport department for management.
