Hanoi requires health declaration after Reunification Day holiday
Hanoi authorities have requested to reactivate the Covid-19 prevention and control systems and take drastic measures to detect illegal migrants. The Ministry of Health’s 5K regulations – wear a facemask, disinfect, keep social distancing, no gatherings and health declarations must be strictly applied, particularly mask-wearing in public places and at meetings.
Local residents are asked to make health declarations after returning from the coming Reunification Day (April 30) and May Day holiday. People who fail to do this will be strictly punished.
The authorities have urged drastic measures on Covid-19 prevention at schools, tourism sites, supermarkets, airports and hospitals.
The city has also decided to suspend unnecessary gatherings and pedestrian streets.
The Department of Education and Training has to inspect Covid-19 prevention efforts at local schools. In necessary cases, schools need to reactivate online study plans.
