The tour aims to promote the unique value of the site to attract more visitors to the monument at night and diversify the capital’s tourism products.

Visitors to the tour are given a unique and different experience with modern 3D mapping technology, which displays vivid images to tell different stories about Confucianism and the country’s history and sages.

Iconic structures within the site, such as the Khue Van Cac (Pavilion of the Constellation of Literature), Vuon Bia Tien Si (Garden of Doctoral Steles), and the Thien Quang Well are utilised to convey the value and significance of studying.

A visitor, Nguyen Hung Long, 35, said that he was impressed by the beauty of the Temple of Literature at night when joining the tour on October 29. "I had visited the Temple of Literature three times before taking this night tour," Long said. "This was a fresh experience and was a nice surprise. The sound and the 3D lighting system created a unique atmosphere and gave us a chance to feel and interact with the relics in a different way."

This is the fourth Hanoi night tour after three others were organised at the Hoa Lo Prison, the Thang Long Imperial Citadel and the Vietnam Museum of Literature.
