Hang said that the hotel chain's daily revenues had been just VND3 million (USD130.43) over recent days, but water and electricity charges cost up to VND200-300,000 per day.
Since the coronavirus outbreak, the firm had sought ways to deal with challenges, but the situation had not improved.
She advised her staff to return home for four months. People who pledged to return to work after that would receive VND1.5 million (USD65.21) per month.
Meanwhile, those who were in more difficult conditions would receive VND4 million per month.
Hang noted that South Korean and Japanese tourists were their major customers. Since the coronavirus epidemic, most of their bookings had been cancelled.
Her company had faced losses of around VND7 billion a month over the past three months. If the situation is not better in the coming time, her firm will face the risk of bankruptcy.
The Vietnamese tourism sector has been severely hit by coronavirus. By February 17, local restaurants' revenues dropped by 50-70% on-year.
The sector would see the loss of USD5.9-7 billion in the next three months.
The revenues of other tourist sites in Vietnam have also fallen by 50%.
