Domestic retail prices of petroleum products in Vietnam were revised down at 3 pm today, January 4, following the adjustment jointly made by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the Ministry of Finance.
The price of biofuel E5 RON92 was capped at VND21,006 per litre, down by VND180; while RON95 fell to VND21,916, down VND232 per litre.
Diesel oil prices decreased to VND19,368 per litre, down by VND420. Kerosene prices were reduced by VND500 per litre to VND19,957 and mazut oil price fell by VND190 per kilo to VND15,495 per kilo.
In this adjustment, the two ministries have decided to only extract VND300 per kilo from mazut oil prices for the price stabilisation fund this time.
Last year, Vietnam adjusted fuel prices 33 times, including 21 increases and 12 decreases.
