According to the Southern Airport Authority, police and the Air Asia, Masena Bokang Jon, born in 1986, travelled from Indonesia to HCM City on August 18 and on September 2, he travelled to Japan. However, his entry was refused and the Japanese authorities sent him back to HCM City for using a fake passport.

Air Asia Airlines transferred official documents from Japanese authorities which state that both of the passport and the copy had been seized. The airlines are also working with the authorities in related countries like Zimbabwe.

Tan Son Nhat Airport has reported and requested support from the Southern Airport Authority and Air Asia but no plan has been proposed and they can't fly Masena Bokang Jon to Indonesia without any kind of legal document.

Since September 27, he has been living in a room for refused entry at Tan Son Nhat Airport in HCM City. He refused to eat bread offered by the airport and doesn't have money for anything else. He also has cancer before and his health has deteriorated quickly.

He had been sent to the hospital last month after having a seizure. When he was sent back to the airport, he only drinks water and milk. On November 6, he refused to eat.

Tan Son Nhat Airport management board suggested sending Masena Bokang Jon to a medical centre while waiting for a solution in case his health turns for the worse. The room at the airport is also designed for short stays and not suitable for passengers in bad health.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam has asked the Immigration Department to work with Tan Son Nhat Airport over the case.
