FIFA: Vietnam football tops in Southeast Asia

Despite losing Thailand in the 2018 World Cup qualifier, Vietnam has secured the top spot in the latest FIFA rankings for Southeast Asia.

In the June FIFA rankings, Vietnam has fallen by three places to stand at the 127th position in the world, followed by Thailand (129th) and the Philippines (137th).

Germany came first with 1775 points while Belgium has surpassed Argentina to stand 2nd in the world rankings.

The next rankings will be announced by FIFA on July 9.
