Defence Minister visits the Philippines, Brunei

While in the Philippines, General Thanh is scheduled to pay a courtesy visit to the Filipino President and hold talks with his counterpart Secretary Voltaire T.Gazmin. 

Both sides will discuss issues of mutual concern, including future cooperation in line with a signed memorandum of understanding on national defence between the two countries.

After the Philippines, General Thanh will fly to Brunei to attend the ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting Retreat (ADMM Retreat) and the second ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting Plus (ADMM+).
