After an article about difficulties faced by the couple Kpuih Mong, 30, and Ksor Bieng 32, in Chu Se District was published in the newspaper, many people assisted them.
Ksor Bieng's new house
On August 10, representatives from Chu Se District and a reporter from Dantri/DTiNews handed the new house to the couple. The 60-square metre house cost VND85 million (USD3,663), including VND82 million donated by Dantri/DTiNews readers.
The eight-member family have lived in a small tent which could collapse at any time for years.
The couple’s eldest son Ksor Dinh is disabled and bed-ridden.

In the coming time, local authorities will also help the couple improve their incomes and help their children study.
