The resolution is applied to men aged over 55 and women aged over 50 who are key leaders of agencies under the city’s party committee, people’s council and people’s committee.

After being provided with general subsidies as stipulated in the government’s Decree 46, people who quit their jobs voluntarily will be offered additional subsidies ranging from VND100 million (USD4,545) and VND200 million (USD9,091), depending on their positions and subsidy coefficient.
The highest subsidy of VND200 million will be for people who are members of the city’s Standing Board of Party Committee and those who have the subsidy coefficient for their position of from 1.05.
Meanwhile, people who are secretary of districts or those with the subsidy coefficient of from 0.9 will be offered VND180 million.
The level from VND100-140 million will be for those who are deputy heads of the city’s Fatherland Front and socio-political associations; those who are vice chairman of district people’s committee and people’s council as well as those heads and deputy heads of district departments.
However, people who are on the list for early retirement in line with the policy to streamline state employees will not be offered the mentioned-above subsidies.
Once approved by the Danang People’s Council, the resolution will take place from August 1 this year.
