Ga Ry Border Guard Station said it received an urgent request from authorities in A Bul village in Laos’ Sekong Province about a 22-year-old woman pregnant with her first child who had gone into difficult labour.

The unit deployed seven personnel, including medical staff, and used a charity ambulance to provide immediate assistance.
The woman was given initial health checks before being transported to Tay Giang Medical Centre in Danang City to ensure a safe delivery.
In addition to medical support, the unit provided VND 2 million (about USD 76) to assist the woman.
