The Sun Group’s resort is the only one in the history of the World Travel Awards to clinch the prize - which is dubbed as the “Oscar of the Travel Industry” for two consecutive years.The iconic 197-room resort, located 600 metres above sea level on the Son Tra Peninsula in the central city, was designed by architect Bill Bensley from Bensley Design Studios in Bangkok.
The resort started operation in June 2012 and since then it has become a primary destination of many politicians and important figures around the world.
In 2014, the resort was honoured with four awards in various categories at the World Travel Awards, including Asia's Leading Hotel Dining and Entertainment Experience, Leading Luxury Resort, Vietnam's Leading Resort and Vietnam's Leading Spa Resort.
